  • Chinese Massage (Tui-Na) therapy which has its roots in ancient Oriental medicine used in China for 2,000 years. Tui- Na uses the traditional Chinese medical theory of the flow of Qi through the meridians as its basic therapeutic orientation. It combines the use of acupressure with gentle stretches and manipulation.

Through the application of massage and manipulation techniques Chinese Tui-Na seeks to establish a more harmonious flow of Qi through the system of channels and collaterals, allowing the body the naturally heal itself. It is well suited for the treatment of specific musculoskeletal disorders and chronic stress-related disorders of the digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems.

Tui-Na  can be used to strengthen the body's energy, as well as relieve blocked, painful conditions.

It is also an extremely relaxing therapy, and so combines some of the benefits of relaxation treatments such as acupuncture.

  • Swedish Massage Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissue of    lactic acid, uric acid and other metabolic waste products. It stretches the ligaments and tendons, keeping them supple. It also stimulates the skin and nervous system whilst relaxing the nerves themselves.

  • Deep Tissue Massage is both corrective and therapeutic. Its purpose is to release stuck muscle fibres and deeply-held patterns of tension; removing toxins, relaxing, soothing and thereby re-educating, as well as encouraging the muscles to operate at full capacity.

    1. It can release pain from muscular tension and stress, relieve frustration and restore comfort and harmony to the whole body.

    2. Injuries can cause muscle problems, but also age, overuse, and emotional trauma all place increased demands on the body. This can result in lymphatic and circulatory system dysfunction which leads to tightening of the tissues and muscle spasm.

    3. Deep Tissue Massage is effective in the reversal of these problems. It creates a prolonged state of reduced muscular tension, by increasing blood and lymphatic flow through deep massage.
